The contributions made at Grassroots Yoga going to Raklife are going right back into the Ventura County community to the people who were hit hardest by the Thomas Fire. Raklife as an organization works with others in the community to find the people who lost everything and really need the support to rebuild their life after the fire.

Some of the people who we have supported or are currently supporting include:

  • Hawaiian Village Apartment Complex – This 50+ unit apartment complex was completely destroyed by the Thomas Fire and the residents who lived their lost everything that they were not able to grab when evacuating quickly.

  • Limoneira Ranch Community – This is a mobile home community located on Limoneira Ranch in Santa Paula which was hard hit by the fire, since this was an area the Thomas Fire came through soon after it started. We were able to tour this area, and it is so sad to see the devastation and everything some of the families lost.

  • Recommendations from community members letting us know others who were hit hard and things we might be able to do to help them.

Your contributions are greatly appreciated and are helping families directly affected by the Thomas Fire to help aid in the recovery process.
